Jérémie Royer is a 39-year old colorist and cartoonist, who published his first comic book La Traversée in 2010 and is most famous for Audubon, On the Wings of the World a volume made in collaboration with Fabien Grolleau and which was published in the United States in 2017 by Nobrow Press. Set at the beginning of the 19th century, this volume tells the story of John James Audubon, a French-American naturalist adventurer and artist who embarked upon an epic ornithological quest across America. Audubon is renowned for writing Birds of America which contains 435 life-size watercolors of North American birds and was published between 1827 and 1838. This volume was nominated twice at the Eisner Comic Industry Awards in 2018 and at San Diego’s Comic-Con.
