This residency is a collaboration between the live arts company Kaimera Productions and Villa San Francisco.

Choreographer and Dancer Sarah Crowell will conduct a winter residency at Villa San Francisco as part of the Oakland/Saint Denis project co-produced with Kaimera Productions.

Following the July performances SPACES: Oakland where inhabitants were invited to share their personal stories, this residency will allow to unfold the second part of the creation: dancers will interpret the Oaklanders’ stories through movement, leading to short videos of story/dance duets.

For this residence Kaimera's associate artist Sarah Crowell will work in close collaboration with dancers Rose Huey, Macio Payomo, and Rashidi Omari.
