Cellist Vincent Courtois, to Perform in Healdsburg

On March 7, Parlor Jazz features Reverso, the transoceanic improvising chamber jazz project co-led by Ryan Keberle, DownBeat’s Rising Star trombonist, and Frank Woeste, the acclaimed Paris-based pianist and music director for Ibrahim Maalouf. They are joined by French cellist Vincent Courtois, who was in  the Bay Area last June for a tour with his trio and creative residency dedicated to the works of Jack London.

Touring the US the past three years to rave reviews, the trio performs original music that crosses the boundaries of jazz and classical music inspired by the early 20th-century French composers Ravel, Poulenc, Milhaud, and the lesser-known female composer, Germaine Tailleferre.

Enjoy this genre-bending chamber jazz performance in the inspiring setting of the Paul Mahder Gallery. The last Parlor Jazz concert sold out, so book your tickets early so you won’t miss this extraordinary ensemble.
